Join our Google IT Specialists as they walk through valuable Google Classroom features and best practices for your school. This session will review key settings for Google Admins to configure Classroom effectively and enhance Classroom features included with the Teaching and Learning, and Plus editions of Google Workspace for Education.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hear from our partner, SysCloud, who will introduce their new Google Classroom backup ability and:

Brian Putka

Partner Sales Manager

Brian Putka joined CDW/Amplified IT in August of 2021 after almost 3 years working as a Technology Territory Manager for Office Depot’s Business To Business Division. During this time, Brian sold, consulted and supported customers K-12, Higher Education, Government, and private sector via the states of Ohio, Michigan, & Indiana. Prior to his role at Office Depot, Brian worked as an IT Training and Development Specialist for University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. In his role at CDW, he works closely with our vendor partners to ensure that our customers receive the best solutions, products, support, and services within the Google Ecosystem.

Based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, watching the Cleveland Browns, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Ryan Nix

Director of Sales & CSS, Syscloud

Ryan Nix lives in Colts Neck, NJ. Ryan joined SysCloud in 2013 as the first sales executive for the company. For the past 8 and a half years, Ryan has focused on working with K12 schools helping support their backup and security requirements for Google Workspace and Office 365. Additionally, Ryan has led SysCloud's EDU sales and customer success team. In his time at SysCloud, Ryan and his team have supported over 1,000 school districts across the United States and have backed up over 13 Petabytes of data. Ryan has received a BA from Gettysburg College and an MBA from Monmouth University. When he isn't working he enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Eric Sizemore

Google for Education Training Consultant

Eric lives in Oklahoma and joined the Amplified IT team in 2020 after working 8 years as a technology director in public schools. During his time in the public education system he helped move multiple districts to Google for Education both directly and indirectly through consultative support to other districts. Today, he is a Google for Education Training Consultant who works with school districts on understanding all things Google for Education. Eric received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith in Media Communications and his MBA from Western Governors University in IT Management. When he isn’t working he enjoys hiking, yelling at the TV when the Sooners are playing, attending OKC Thunder games, and reliving his teenage years playing Halo. His favorite food is tacos and his favorite drink is a COOP F5 IPA.
