Eric's passionate about helping schools make the most of technology. He's spent over 10 years in the ed tech world, from running tech departments for public schools to now working as a Senior Education Consultant. He's a Google Cloud Certified Professional Workspace Administrator and ChromeOS Administrator and loves sharing practical tips and tricks to help educators and Google admins unlock the power of Google for Education. In his free time, Eric enjoys hiking with his dogs, Cooper and Riley, exploring national parks with his wife, Makayla, and experiencing the joys and sorrows of being an Oklahoma sports fan.

Kendal Shomura

Google for Education Training Consultant

Kendal Shomura joined the CDW Amplified for Education team in 2018 after 7 years working in Public Schools as an educator, Instructional Coach, Technology Integration Specialist, and as a Professor in Masters of Educational Technology program at Touro University. He spent 3 years as a Google Administrator while training staff on how to integrate Google Workspace tools into their classrooms. Kendal’s wide array of experiences with Educational Technology allows him to understand the important nuances of technology in schools. Today, he is a Google for Education Training Consultant who works to help schools better understand and leverage their Google environment for student learning.

Rob is a 2024 addition to the CDW Amplified for Education Academy Team and brings nearly 30 years of experience supporting technology in education to his role as a Google Workspace Education Consultant. Formerly a senior Google Administrator for one of Canada's largest public school divisions, Rob possesses a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise in deploying and managing Google Workspace for Education. Passionate about empowering School IT Staff and Educators through innovative technology solutions, Rob is dedicated to helping schools create engaging and collaborative digital learning environments.
