Josh Whetherholt is an Esports in Education Advisor for CDW•G. A lifelong gamer and avid learner, Josh uses his nerd knowledge for good to advise schools on how to start and expand successful esports programs focused on competition and game-based professional development. Josh is a former Account Manager for CDW•G’s Higher Education segment, and supported all of EDU as part of the Business Development team focusing on ecommerce. Josh was collegiate athlete in track and cross country, and coached K-8 track and field in Arizona. Josh’s background in education, gaming, and competitive sports enable him to understand the complexity and nuance of competitive esports at the K-12 and collegiate levels.
