Laura Boone

For more than 20 years, Laura Boone has worked to bridge the gap between technology and curriculum. Prior to joining CDW Education she taught ELA, Social Studies, Business and Technology (grades K - 12) and spent a decade as a technology integration project specialist and leading professional development initiatives. Her conference and training work have focused heavily on empowering educators as they integrate technology in their classrooms and supporting students in effectively applying SEL, mindfulness and self-regulation practices to technology use. Laura has an MEd, an MBA, and a BS in Economics, is an ISTE Certified Trainer, a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, and a former Microsoft Innovative Education Expert. She is proud to hold an elected position as Secretary on the Executive Board of AzTEA and to have recently served on the committee to update the Arizona Educational Technology Standards and the newly created Arizona EdTech Endorsement.
